Obsession was a highly thrilling and intense British limited series which displayed, up close, the complications of having an affair and what that does to the people around you. Although, this story is a slightly exaggerated version of the implications of having an affair, in this series we see a father involved with his son’s partner, which is all kinds of wrong. The show follows a mans desperate obsession and scandalous love affair. He is a man who appears to have everythin

Encanto (2021) is a beautifully vibrant and bold Disney movie with unforgettable musical renditions from the highly acclaimed Lin Manuel Miranda. Encanto showcases a broad sense of reality and inclusivity, giving us some of the relatable and diverse characters we’ve seen from Disney in a long time. The primary reason this movie belongs on my top 100 list is the music, the music throughout this film is like a virus. Once you catch it you can’t let it go, it overpowers you with

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (2002) is the second instalment in the world renowned Harry Potter franchise, The story follows Harry's second year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, where the Heir of Salazar Slytherin opens the Chamber of Secrets. Tomlin, Parton and Fonda absolutely nail their roles within this feature and bring some of the most hilarious comedic acting from that decade. When I originally watched this film I had no idea for the plot or overall narrative, going into this film completely blind was such a gift because of the pure shock and excitement I felt when the narr

Oh how I wish the future was the way the film represented it, how cool would it have been if we had flying cars, self tying shoes and hover boards? After watching Back to the Future (1985) as a child I fell absolutely in love with the story, a true depiction of cinema having no bounds or restrictions. Time travel represented in its finest way, through comedy and fantastic storytelling. Back to the Future (1985) is timeless, every time I think about this film it brings a smile

Did you know Tim Burton’s Mars Attacks! only made 1 million at the box office? Did you know it was considered a flop and got incredibly mixed reviews from critics at the time? Neither did I and I am absolutely shocked after learning this. Mars Attacks! is a uniquely devised Burton classic which incorporates some of his better know techniques and displays his quirky approach to filmmaking. I remember seeing Mars Attacks! for the fist time and being completely blown away by the

They simply don’t make films like this anymore, we no longer have stars like Judy Garland and practical affects are slowly being pushed off our screens. In this classic musical fantasy, Judy Garland stars as Dorothy Gale, a young Kansas farm girl who dreams of a land somewhere ove
