A man claiming to be from the future takes an innocent group of an iconic Los Angeles diner hostage in search of unlikely recruits in a quest to save the world.

This is not a faithful adaptation of Emily Brontë’s novel, quite the opposite this is a brash, outlandish, larger than life explosion of desire and romance. If you’re looking for an adaption of your favourite book, this will not impress you, leave your expectations at the door and allow yourself to dive into this fictional world of yearning. Also yes, it is very raunchy.

The Moment is a mockumentary with elements of truth, it’s funny, it’s charming, the cast perform brilliantly and although some would argue it’s a simple ‘concert movie’ I tend to disagree. I think The Moment attempts to do something fun, this film wanted to comment on the music industry and the hypocrisy of it all whilst making you laugh in disbelief.

Directed by Daniel Chong this is an animated feature film about protecting nature and fighting for what you believe in.
