FILMPROBE®
A Thorough Investigation into Film & TV
About me
Who is Film Probe?
Hi, I'm Lydia and I'm Film Probe!
I'm a Film & TV, Theatre Graduate with a passion for writing and filmmaking.
I created Film Probe in 2017 as a way to share my opinions of film & television and practise my skills as a writer, I have since written 500+ reviews and several screenplays. Film Probe has grown into a platform with over 200K readers/followers and up to 25 Million views!
I design all my own content from review carousels, reels and long form content to help preserve my strong voice and brand! One day I hope to build Film Probe into a known publication that readers can trust and rely on for honest film criticism.
Interviewer
In 2026 I started growing my platform from a faceless account that only shares reviews to more of a personality! I have had the pleasure of interviewing talent about upcoming features and have led several interviews!
I hope to continue interviewing talent, making connections and getting my face out there more!
Film Festival Coverage
In 2026 I have attended several film festivals that I have dreamt of attending for years;
1. Cinema Con, Las Vegas
2. Cannes Film Festival
3. TriBeCa Film Festival, NYC
4. TIFF, Toronto International Film Festival, Canada
5. London Film Festival
6. CIFF, Cine International Film Festival, London
I have also been a JURY MEMBER for Novella Film Festival, a Short Film Festival in London in 2025 and 2026.
You can discover my film festival coverage on my social accounts:
Instagram @filmprobe
TikTok @filmprobe
Youtube @film_probe
On my socials I share daily film reviews / analysis but I also share video content on Tiktok, where I dive deep into film & tv and investigate areas of the industry others might miss!
I strive for you to leave Film Probe learning something new or with a new perspective!
Content Creator
I naturally make a lot of content online to support my film reviews, analysis and criticism. So, I have become a content creator in the process!
It is a very interesting industry and I learn something new every day but I hope I can build Film Probe into a recognisable brand online and maybe one day something more permanent!
Through content creation I have met incredible people in the industry and made lifelong connections but can I show off for a second and say I met Steven Spielberg at a pub quiz in London?!
Thank you for reading, watching & being a film lover like me!
I'm Lydia & I'm Film Probe!
