Throughout my daily film picks you will see plenty of Alfred Hitchcock but to start I wanted to highlight Strangers on a Train (1951).

A criss cross crime thriller which sees two men entangled in a murderous plot. I studied this film in university and every time I go back to it I am reminded just how technically faultless it is, along with the staggering performances and plot.

The glasses shot featured in my film probe picks image is one of the most enticing of the whole film, if you get round to watching it I hope you are as fascinating by that  single shot as I am.
