Growing up I was obsessed with River Phoenix (I still am) and challenged myself to watch every one of his films, thank god I did.

When I first watched Dogfight (1991) in roughly 2014, I was utterly moved by it, an unconventional love story which starts with cruel intentions but blossoms into something deeply emotional and meaningful.

Dogfight is a film that breaks your heart but glues it back together again, set over a single day the love story is fleeting and painfully emotional.
