Sorry to Bother you (2018) is one of those films that will leave you utterly shell shocked. Directed by Boots Riley this is a satirical, surreal dark comedy that revolves around themes of capitalism, class, race, corporate power and exploitation.
It is stunningly unique, beautifully performed and intelligently critical and divisive. I also studied this film in university and it blew my mind, I was flabbergasted by the ending and have since watched it again and again to fully understand the intentions and the meaning behind every frame.
