Mannu is the perfect son, the best football player, intelligent, charming, handsome, the list goes on,  but despite everything, Mannu struggles to find his purpose. Mannu doesn’t know what his passion is or what he should offer the world. The film’s plot tries to decipher what Mannu will do with his life, alongside the unexpected romance between him and Jiya.

As someone who hasn’t experienced a lot of Indian cinema, I was utterly blown away by the stylised choreography, dazzling performances, but most of all, the hypnotic design of ‘Mannu Kya Karegga’. This film may just be your perfect introduction to modern Bollywood. 

Introducing Vyom (Mannu) and Saachi Bindra (Jiya) in the title roles, this film is a vibrant explosion of colour, humour, and self-discovery. A coming-of-age feature that experiments with genre, jumping from a bold musical number into a heartfelt romantic scene. Mannu Kya Karegga (2025) keeps you on your toes, tapping your foot to the beat and smiling through the charm. 

This film is a spectacle of love, life, and identity. The story follows Mannu, but alongside us, we get to experience his impact on those around him, how Mannu can encourage his friends and family to find themselves. 

This is a poetic story about following your heart, trusting yourself, and embracing your instincts. Sometimes we do what we think everyone wants of us, but Mannu Kya Karegga reminds us to look within and find the passion, to follow what you love. 

This film is an impressive canvas of identity, woven into the film are moments of doubt and disbelief, but as the story grows and the characters flourish, it grows into a beautiful piece of storytelling. Discovering who you are and trusting yourself.
